Frankenboob Updates

If I didn't mention it before, 'Frankenboob' is my nickname for my mastectomy surgery scar. It's about 8" long, somewhat concave, and really hideous. That said, the surgery removed the breast cancer tumor. Now I'm trying to figure out how to pay for chemo treatments as I have no medical insurance and because I'm not below the poverty line, I don't qualify for free medical.

8/17: Mastectomy surgery - $45,000 - savings....gone

10/6: Surgery for chemo port - CANCELLED, as it was $14,000 to have the port put in!

10/12: Scheduled for first chemo treatment, but had to CANCEL as I cannot pay for the treatments.

I work and pay taxes but cannot get treatment. The President pays less in taxes than I do and gets world-class free medical. Heck, even prisoners get free medical! I just want breast cancer treatments.....
